Andrew Belcher

VAT Consultant

Andrew joined his former boss Noel Tyler at VATangles in 2012, where they work together to review case law and deliver proactive advice and guidance to VATangles’ not-for-profit clients. Andrew began his career with Liaison VAT Consultancy (now known as Liaison Group) in 1993, holding several roles including Director of Tax between 2007 and 2011. Andrew is passionate about recovery VAT from HMRC for the not-for-profit sector, including FE colleges, NHS organisations and charities.

Andrew was one of only two students accepted into the Institute of Indirect Taxation in 1995, following a rigorous examination process. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Andrew enjoys spending time with his family and getting involved in sport. He is a trustee of his local village cricket club and a qualified football referee, as a well as a lifelong supporter of Crystal Palace Football Club.
